Hardboot
Building on the client's tried-and-true over-center pre-loading system, this design had to take what already worked in a small space, and fit it all into a smaller space.
This design integrated
- Sheet metal design - Laser cut, press brake, and stamping
- Tapped and bent spring steel formed on a spring coiling machine
- Barrel nuts from a screw machine operator
- Die Cut EVA foam
- CNC design and optimization
